During your stay

Rooms

All rooms are private and equipped with a recliner armchair as well as a sofa bed for companions (sheets are available at the nurses’ desk).

There is a landline telephone in the room where you can receive calls directly: 959242100, extension 2 and then the room number.

All rooms have a plasma television, which works with a voucher you may purchase in the machine situated on the third floor (next to the nurses’ desk).

Personal possessions

Rooms do not have a strongbox, so bringing money or other valuables is discouraged. The Hospital is not liable for them.

Personal possessions

There is a waiting room on the third floor with comfortable armchairs.

In-room meals

  • Breakfast: 9:00 a.m.
  • Lunch: 1:30 p.m.
  • Snack: 5:30 p.m.
  • Dinner: 8:00 p.m.

Meals for companions

Only the patient will be given meals while admitted. If a companion would like a meal (breakfast, snack, lunch and/or dinner), the service must be paid for privately or authorisation must be obtained from the insurance company (only if this service is included in the patient’s policy).

Family and friends

Many medical and nursing activities are carried out in the mornings, so it is more comfortable for family and friends to visit in late afternoon or early evening until 8:00 p.m. at the latest. Do not forget that long or frequent visits may tire patients. And please remember at all times that you are in hospital:

  • Try to limit the number of guests.
  • Avoid speaking loudly or standing around in the corridors.
  • Always respect other patients’ needs for rest.
  • In general, visits by children under 12 are discouraged. A hospital is not an appropriate place for children and it may be harmful to their health.
  • If companions need justification for employment purposes, it may be requested at the Main Admissions Desk (weekdays) or at the Emergency Care Admissions Desk (Sundays and holidays). You must show the patient’s national identity document so the document may be issued.
